Terms of Use

Effective August 3, 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, generating an API key, or using NodeSandbox, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you use NodeSandbox for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.

If you do not agree to these terms, do not access or use the service.

2. The service

NodeSandbox provides browser-based Node.js development environments, including project files, package installation, command execution, development servers, previews, terminals, and related APIs and user interfaces.

Features may be added, changed, limited, or removed as the service evolves. Alpha, beta, preview, and experimental features may be incomplete or change without notice.

3. Accounts and API keys

You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and for all activity performed through your account, teams, and API keys. Keep credentials secure, configure allowed origins carefully, and promptly revoke credentials you believe have been exposed.

You may not share access in a way that bypasses plan limits or use another person’s account without permission.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use NodeSandbox to violate law; infringe intellectual property or privacy rights; distribute malware; gain unauthorized access to systems or data; interfere with the service; evade usage limits; conduct abusive automated traffic; or facilitate fraud, harassment, or harm.

You are responsible for the code, commands, network requests, dependencies, and other content you run through a sandbox, including confirming that you have the rights and permissions required to use them.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of content you provide. You grant NodeSandbox the limited rights needed to host, transmit, process, cache, and execute that content solely to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.

You are responsible for backups and should not treat a sandbox, terminal, cache, or preview environment as permanent storage.

6. Plans, limits, and payment

Paid plans, included usage, billing periods, and prices are described when you subscribe. Taxes may apply. Unless required by law or stated otherwise at purchase, charges are non-refundable.

We may enforce technical and usage limits associated with your plan. Current plan information shown in your account controls if it conflicts with general marketing material.

7. Third-party services and software

Projects may install or communicate with third-party packages, repositories, APIs, and services. Their terms and privacy practices apply independently, and NodeSandbox is not responsible for third-party content or services.

Open-source components included in the service remain subject to their applicable licenses.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address a violation of these terms, security risk, legal requirement, non-payment, or material harm to the service or others.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, and payment obligations—will survive.

9. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NodeSandbox is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or error-free results.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NodeSandbox will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from use of the service.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date will be updated when changes are published. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms where permitted by law.
